Enrol in a paid course
A school may charge for public course access or require its own roster students to pay. Prices and payment providers are managed by the school.
- Find the course in Explore Courses or My Learning.
- Sign in and use the course’s enrolment or access button.
- Review the course name, price and currency in Moodle.
- Select an available payment type and complete checkout with that provider.
- Return to the course and verify that you can open it.
Payment pending or failed
Do not pay again if your account was charged. Record the provider reference, course, time and amount, then contact the school’s finance team. Never share card details, account passwords or gateway secret keys.
A gateway may not support every currency. If checkout fails before payment, ask the school to check the course currency and its gateway configuration.
Existing access
Enrolled users should see Open in Moodle. Paid access is tracked separately from the school’s academic roster. A school/site suspension can still block access; ask the school if a purchased course is unavailable.
